Life after Gettysburg

What does success with a Gettysburg degree look like?

It starts with a career plan that students create long before they graduate—thanks to over 8,000 career experiences they have access to through the Gettysburg Network. In fact, 80% of our students complete at least one internship by the time that they graduate.

It continues shortly after graduation, with 98% of our recent graduates either enrolled in graduate school or finding full-time employment one year after their graduation.

Add the support of our active and global alumni network—which three out of four young alums use as they secure their post-graduate plans—and it’s no surprise that Gettysburg College is consistently ranked as a “College that Creates Futures” by The Princeton Review.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition. Alumni include Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate, and other distinguished scholars. The college enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students and is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.
